STRANGE REELS.... WITH RICK

Introducing a unique cast of NPC’s with interesting dialogue and interactions such as a cursed show host, a dockyard merchant with a hidden selection, a mad movie director obsessed with “the twist”, and receptionist with a secret motivation, and a revealing phone call from across the Lake.

A speakeasy owner tasks the players to find out why Rick is no longer broadcasting. Upon discovering Rick, it is learned that he is being haunted by a reel that curses those who watch it. Piece together the clues from watching the cursed reel, bypassing security on the coil, speak to a former teacher and coach about a past student, interview a director about his “unique” start in movies at the cursed theater. All clues lead to the cursed theater and what lays inside is a movie feature that hasn’t been seen for decades.

The players will travel across a 1920s style like world of the city of Eirhontou, the massive city on the lakes with towering skyscrapers and bridges so tall and large, people (such as Rick) live below them. Electricity lights the sky and brings life to the coil which brings knowledge and media directly towards the viewer. Travel to the towering high rises of Northern pointe, the hidden supplies of Détregar Provisions by the docks, a movie theater converted speakeasy of Millem 35 as well as the hidden and cursed theater of MacCready Hall.
